Ok, so I sat down with Trevor and Will over the past couple of nights to come up with something we all liked and it had everything that they wanted. Last night it was done, just needed some rearranging of the boxes on it, and this is what I finally came up with. The layout coding will begin tomorrow morning as long as Trevor and Will are good with it. As everybody has told me, the two previous designs has had a lot of likes and I enjoyed designing the both of them. However, I wasn't completely happy with either of them. With this 3rd and final version of the design process complete, I am completely happy with what we have all put in store for the entire fed. So, lets hear it everybody. Are you excited, disappointed, pissed off or what about the final draft of the first face lift for the future of this fed? Tell us in this thread. I'll be adding more images to this thread, so keep an eye on it.

It looks nice and well organized. My only real nitpick is I'm not a fan of "owners on the banner." I believe that the talent should be the characters featured on the banner because they are the ones putting up RPs and stuff like being in banners, graphics and ppv posters is just another reward for that hardwork on their part.

Alexis, I understand where you are coming from with the talent being showcased. That was the direction I originally wanted to go, however Trevor was against that for one reason. Say we put two wrestlers up there. Then they leave... Well, then we have to remove them and update them. I suggested putting the owners up there... Will and Trevor are dedicated to the fed, and I personally feel that giving them the recognition on the main website for all of the hard work both "on camera" and behind the scenes is well worth it. Because as you mentioned, our talent will be on PPV graphics and many other things through out the website. Most roleplayers here aren't going to chip in and write matches.. Some may not even send in segments for their characters... WHere as staff not only started the fed, but also, recruit, update us with news, put up cards, as well as write the results for the shows. Talent AND Staff help build the foundation for a solid fed and all should get the recognition for it, not just the talent. So, yes the staff is on the main graphic... However the talent will be on every other graphic that is made for SCW shows and what not. P.S. - You guys are lucky I put the owner's on there and not a bunch of pictures of Justin Underwood

But the owners reward for hard work is a successful fed with a roster that is dedicated and DOESN'T flake. Their reward is that of knowing that they did a good job putting together a good fed. Their recognition comes in the effort we all put in for it. People come into the site and see the owners on the banner and think "Wow, the owners think very highly of themselves" and already a bad taste in the mouth. New people come in and see ACTIVE roster members on the header banner and think "wow, I want to join and work my ass off so I can one day be featured up there." Hence giving them a positive feeling and a want and need to put their all into it by RPing every week and putting in segments.
It is not to say that the owners are NOT doing a great job but their reward is the fed being successful and ACTIVE. And a fed that gives its active RP contributors recognition instead of staff on such things as these will lead to success and activity.

I'll put it this way. If the rpers want the talent on the roster, and can talk Trev and WIll into it, then I can do it. I have no problem. I have no problem keeping the image updated with new talent being showcased.

And I want to clarify, this is in NO WAY attacking staff of being ego-centric ...it really does sound like a way NOT to promote people that are just going to flake ...which makes sense. BUT we do have some people on the roster who I think staff have faith in like Nightcrawler and R.M Strong and Andre Dixon is making good showings. And I don't think that every guy should be on the banner, just the people that staff have ABSOLUTE faith in and have been putting on impressive showing thus far ...again it is a reward.
Again, it is not to attack anyone on staff or accuse any bias but just my own two cents on this issue given what I've seen before in other places.

Very nice, like the look a lot. Very clean.
I have the backstage script we use for LPW if you all are interested in something like that.

if you want to be a little ambitious, change the header graphic after every PPV or whenever so that the owners are featured along with the current champion(s). i like giving visual props to the "talent", but i also don't think every asshole who fills out an application and disappears after their first match should have a likeness featured on the homepage banner.
also, add some porn.

Lol ...yeah, I was in a fed where a group of people complained that ONLY the main eventers, which they were not among, were featured in the banner. So a second banner was made to feature those that complained. I certainly didn't agree with this action ...because it should be for those that are the icons of the fed whether they are main eventers or upper mid-carders or up and comers that have proved themselves over a few months ...but it should be those characters that we think of when we think of the fed.
Sorry if I got snappy at you though. I'm used to dealing with more hostile places.

What about possibly putting the first World Champion up there? You could even put the two people that fight for the belt up there. And then you can always change it. And even if you don't it still shows the history of the fed which will hopefully be around a long time.
Either way I think they all look amazing. Great work man.

I only really have one complaint about the design. I think the titles in the boxes, along with all font, should be in white. The black font makes it more difficult to read, and I think a white (or lighter) font would also make the site pop more. There's my two cents.
