Okay, guys, Superiority has been posted. Check it out and leave your thoughts as a reply in this thread. We always enjoy reading the thoughts, opinions and, yes, criticisms of everyone involved so we can improve each and every week.
Also, next week's lineup will be posted later today along with an update of the Rankings page.
Kind of a funny story...accidentally changed the layout of the page while trying to make the card fit in its text box...I think I like this layout better...what do you guys think?
Anyway, hope you all enjoyed the show...next week should be a huge.
Keep spreading the word about SCW!
If any of you have questions about why something happened tonight, feel free to PM TGO, the GM or the SCW Owner account.

I think it was great for a first card. Only issue would be that it's a bit small, but that's a given since it is the first card.
Edit: btw I like the new site layout just fine, though I've always preferred frames for this sort of stuff myself.

Yea, next week's should be bigger and more competitive.
Also, just wanted to give credit where it's due...shout out to Rik and TGO for their efforts for the show.
Rik: Crisis/Stevens match, along with the opening segment TGO: Main event and final angle
Great job, guys!

I thought it was a very solid first show. Great Main Event and I like how it was very organized for a first show. Awesome job, and I cannot wait till the next.

There wasn't enough spaghetti in catering. Someone should look into that.

I thought it was great for a first show. You guys would tease me with that SCW Heavyweight Title haha. I really look forward to seeing where things go from here and seeing next weeks card.
Great work by everyone involved.

Okay, now that I've had the chance to read the card I'll share my thoughts. I hope I don't come across badly with these comments, but I want to be honest to help make the product better.
What I liked about the show is that is flowed pretty well. We got to see numerous wrestlers including those that didn't compete. There are some things I think should be looked over again as well.
1. Personally I don't believe that we need fully written matches for people that no-show. If someone doesn't role-play at all (2 didn't for this card) then they need to lose swiftly. Also I don't believe that a match featuring a no-show should headline any card. This week we have Lance Stevens and Mike Crisis both rp well, and post two role-plays each. That should have been the main event.
2. It's alright for ring announcers to have back stories, but they shouldn't dominate a good portion of the first half of the card. Also to be honest having a ring announcer like Predator just sounds... off.
3. Commentators aren't supposed to get along completely at ringside. Both of them are supposed to have different views. They are, however, supposed to have some chemistry. Both of these commentators felt like they were about to come to blows ringside. I think more work needs to be done through future cards also to really establish their personalities, and their leanings (heel or face). Right now Hood seems like a very ghetto blend of R-Truth and Booker T.
That's all I have for now. I think for a first card it was well done, but each card hereafter can definitely get better. That's a pretty good combo when you put out something good, and see where there's room for improvement.

That's a pretty good combo when you put out something good, and see where there's room for improvement. You make some good points. Especially the no show thing. I also think if somebody no shows they should lose the match quick. The main event thing I can understand for this event because there was no set main event but in the future I'm sure there will be and you probably will have to keep those the main event whether they show or not. If both no show I guess that would be a different story.

Just a heads up...apparently the lovely site builder that Angelfire uses decided to gobble half the card.
I'll get it fixed in the morning...so if you haven't read it yet, rest assured, it will be fixed tomorrow morning.

Hood, definitely not ghetto. The banter between both of them is for humor, granted I'm sure there were some parts that were lengthy but to get a joke out it takes a minute sometimes.
Predator is also for humor, this is a game and we have to have some humor in it. And of course some of you have not been in a fed ran by either the GM or myself (we've both been around the game for over 10 years) so it's something that we tend to do and we enjoy it. To be honest it gets monotonous reading a card or writing one for that matter if there isn't some humor in there, we just tend to do it all throughout the card.
The main event was the way that it was for the angle at the end of the show. We had an idea and we ran with it. Once things get on track and there isn't a need for something like that then we'll go from there. If it offended someone, I apologize, but please try to look at it as fed development.
We definitely appreciate all of the comments and criticisms, I just felt the need to explain a few things.

Sometimes Main Eventers no-show. It happens. Remembers hearing about a world champ Lurrr who no showed against a rookie named Curt and lost his world title. Shit happens, ya know? And I like Predator. Always nice I think to add personality to the staff. He reminds me of a ring announcer I made in my own fed. He was an Evil (Heel) Homosexual who would have an extra quip he would give for introductions (hitting on the guys, complimenting heels, etc...) just to give the fed a bit of extra flavour. Also I'm not arguing with you J-man. I understand your points and I'm sure like everyone I appreciate your honesty. Just tought I'd present my own point of view

Let me start by saying I'm not one of the type that easily gets offended when people disagree with my comments. We aren't all going to agree on everything, and that's natural. I can understand the humor in both the announcer and commentators. Maybe it's just the way I read the card last night, but I think the dialogue could use a little work to make both more comical instead of creepy (Predator) or overly confrontational (Hood).
As far as the main event goes, I understand the angle portion of why things went the way they went. I just wanted to make two quick points, though. If one of the people no shows, I'd still say make the match short. To me the longer a match is means that they people in the match worked that hard in their role-plays. Also I mentioned the other match as the preferred main event because of what I saw the Mystery GM post before the card:
"The most competitive match will air as the Main Event."
In that case it was Crisis v. Stevens.
In closing let me thank everyone for coming back at me with constructive posts. I have been in feds where some wrestlers would revert to juvenile bantering, insults, and threats. That is no way for a fed to run. As mentioned previously this is for fun, and we shouldn't have to worry about starting some OOC spat with our opinions.

Just wanted to say nice start to the fed, guys. My guy enjoyed watching it from the suite. My only question? Why am I a "former ICWF Hall of Famer"? Have I been stripped of my spot? *lol* j/k
Of course, for those who have no idea who I am.... hi! ;D
