Words have been exchanged.
Threats have been made.
Some have already predicted victory.
And in the end… only one shall emerge the FIRST face of SCW; The first person to be considered a bonafide main eventer. Some want it with a passion. Some think it should be handed to them without the work. Others …others know will give their everything to walk out of this match. But only one understands what is on the line here. She is the only one who fully understands what this means to her young career. While others have been jaded to a moment like this, Alexis Prodigy, with a fresh mindset to the industry, knows that this is as good as winning any kind of title.
It is a moniker.
It is a claim to greatness.
It is prestige.
With her fully focused on the match and what will be earned in the process, Alexis Prodigy steps into the lion’s. But while she is fully prepared to stare the beasts in the eyes and try to tame them …can she survive them? As she prepares for this milestone moment in her life, she looks to honor one more person that set the path for her. Will this absolve any past wrong doings and make her more powerful than ever walking into Sunday or will it weigh her down? Join us as Alexis looks to the end of her journey in travelling through her lineage …and walks into her possible new beginning at Sunday Superiority and the Battle Royal that will decide people’s fates for the months to come

She slammed her fist into the punching bag with a fury that Herman hadn’t even seen from any boxer or UFC fighter. The last few days, she had been keeping her fauxe sweet demeanor, but that inner rage he spied has grown since Alexis reconciled with her grandfather. And once she invited Herman Melville to document her training before taking the final leg of their tour through her past, that rage came out in full force. Of course she never said anything to voice her rage …but her body movements and the aggression displayed while lifting weights, doing push ups and now taking it to this poor bag was more than enough to tell him that visiting her grandfather angered her greatly.
He continued to videotape as she slammed her surprisingly strong fists into the bag. Soon, she switches it up and starts hitting the bag with swift kicks that sends the thing rocking back and forth. Herman couldn’t tell if the liquid falling down her cheek was tears or sweat. With each *bap* of her fist her foot hitting the bag, Herman felt the tension rise. Suddenly, she took off her gloves and just starting nailing the bag with her barefists. She even began to scream as she continued the attack on the poor defenseless leather sack of foam. Herman always saw her as a calm and cool con-woman and not really one who was quick to anger …but what he saw here was proof that there was a deep seated hatred. Was it towards her family or society in general? Herman didn’t know nor did he want to. She finally stepped away to collect herself. A few seconds went by before she landed one final fist into the punching.
She then stepped away and toweled herself off as Herman approached her, making sure to film her the whole way through.
Herman Melville: Is everything okay?
After she guzzled her water and put it to the side. She turned towards him and immediately, her intense looked turned to that of contentment. Herman became more and more amazed how she can turn her fake candor on a dime.
Alexis Prodigy: Oh, I am just so focused on preparing for my match on Sunday.
Herman Melville: Are you sure there isn’t something ELSE on your mind?
Alexis shook her head.
Alexis Prodigy: No …
She paused for a moment as she tried to maintain her pleasant smile.
Alexis Prodigy: …of course not. I am not going to make the same mistake others are making on the way towards this. I am not going to be transfixed on sex. I am not going to be living on my past glories. I am not going to be stuck in my own insane delusion. I am not going to be transfixed on changing my colors and the wonders of it. In fact, hearing about how my opposition is preparing insults not only me but where I came from. It used to be you EARN your opportunity by training and preparing for the match …and you win the big match by training and preparing even harder. You keep your body and mind constantly working towards that cause. Nothing else takes precedence over the match. That is the way I was taught by my father and his father and my mentor. If you don’t have wrestling on your mind before a big match, you are going to be eliminated from said match.
She wasn’t lying this time. No, this time, to Herman, she seemed to just be in denial. She began to towel herself off again just due to how much she was sweating during her last session.
Herman Melville: If the match is your ONLY concern this week, why are you visiting your family and making sure it is taped?
Alexis gave him a stern look. Herman had gotten to know her a little bit at this point, and had become a little more bold with his questioning.
Alexis Prodigy: As you saw, this has EVERYTHING to do with my upcoming match. I dedicated my match this Sunday to my grandfather and the man we are about to meet in a few hours. They, and Terrence Carlyle, are the reason I am in this match. My blood and training have brought me here. Everything I am doing this week IS about the battle royal. Seeing these men again reminds me what I am fighting for: making their legacy mean something.
The shrillness of her voice was even more apparent than usual. In fact, Herman can see her grit her teeth when she mentioned her family’s legacy. He could tell that what she was saying was fake, but the emotion and anger behind was certainly real. Herman actually began to like when she was like this. It actually proved to him that, although incredibly fake, she was, in fact, an actual human being.
Herman Melville: You sound more confident about your win than earlier this week. What changed?
Her intense look turns, once again, into a sly smirk. It was the look of someone with an ace up their sleeve.
Alexis Prodigy: Nothing changed. I always knew that I would be overcoming the overwhelming odds during this match given my work ethic. But before it was four competitors who were on an equal playing field and Dangerous Dan. But something began to sink into my head as I trained, as I studied my opponents, and as I confronted my family: they don’t know who I am.
Her smirk turned to a wide smile that revealed how menacing she could really be. Her voice reeked of a proud pretention as Herman continued to record the beauty.
Herman Melville: I think it is safe to say that after last week, every man in the match knows who you are.
Alexis raised her index finger to him.
Alexis Prodigy: No, they don’t. Besides my name about the only thing they know about me is that I am a girl. They haven’t watched my matches and they haven’t seen me speak. All they know about me is that they are stepping in to face a girl. Of course, they began to label me and stereotype me into little girl categories. Some throw how I am a strong girl who is looking to “prove” herself and win some gold right off the bat. Because, of course, we are all the same. Another assumes that I am going to want to avenge my “fallen sister.” While what Dangerous Dan did to Angel was horrible …we already know he is outclassed in this match. His comeuppance happens because he doesn’t deserve to be in the ring with us four. He is in over his head. And finally, there is the assumptions that I will be just as easy to take as Angel.
She shook her head at how pathetic these concepts were. She even giggled a little bit.
Alexis Prodigy: They haven’t watched. They haven’t listened. They don’t know the truth about me …and gosh, they don’t want to know the truth about me. I am not a “little girl” but a woman who grew up in this business; a woman who was trained by the best in the industry. Of course they want to put me in a labeled box and just call me a “just another girl doing girly things.” It makes it easier to believe the truth of the match…
She paused for a moment and raised her eyebrow.
Alexis Prodigy: The biggest threat in this match is a woman.
She shrugged in her training gear.
Alexis Prodigy: And that is perfectly fine by me. It is their match to lose, not mine. They’ll be looking for this box with “girl” written on it, and they’ll focus on that box …and as they focus on it …one by one, I will eliminate them. Just because they are preparing to fight a “just another girl,” when they should be getting ready to tussle with a fully grown, fully developed, skillfully trained WOMAN!
She got up and headed towards the ring in the middle of the gym. She slid in as Herman followed her. She began running the ropes back and forth as Herman threw more questions at her.
Herman Melville: But is this ALL about the gender wars?
She continued to run the ropes like a pro and answered his question. She was yelling due to the noise she was making.
Alexis Prodigy: That would just be foolish if I made it about “men Vs. women” wouldn’t it? That is already what these men are doing. There will be more to this match then that … A LOT more. Here is the main fact. Scott Syren, Curt Canon, Dangerous Dan, and Jim Douglas …their career can only go down from here. They are already looking at the twilight of their career. You can already tell that they are almost broken down men. Heck, one of them can’t even show up to a match on time. And that guys buddy doesn’t know what his strategy is towards his friend. I’m sorry …but Curt Canon has been doing this for too long to not know what he is going to do about Scott Syren.
She paused as she did two more laps around the ropes.
Alexis Prodigy: Obviously, what is at stake here isn’t that important for Curt Canon if he isn’t willing to accept that it is every man and woman for themselves, then he doesn’t deserve to win the match. If he isn’t willing to give his all and sacrifice his being …then he doesn’t really “get it” as far as how crucial this is for our careers. They obviously forgot what this business is all about a long time ago. They have been on top for way too long …and I hate saying this about two of my idols …but it is time for them to fall. This will be the beginning of the end for them. As my stock begins to rise, theirs will begin to fall. They will both realize that they lost track a LONG time ago …and watch their legacy drift away. And it will just drift further and further the way they more they deny this.
Herman continued to tape her run the ropes. Her father, and her grandfather were the furthest thing from her mind at this point. Herman could tell that she, once again, became fully engrossed with this match coming up. The wheels had been turning about every man in this event for a week.
Alexis Prodigy: And Jim Douglas, he really does run this risk of falling backwards in his WRESTLING career. If he continues to focus more on “living his character” and NOT on what the rest of us are doing in the ring …he’ll watch every opportunity like this one fall through his finger tips. Indeed this is going to be one of those moments. Again, he doesn’t know what it is like to scrap from the bottom to the top of life …or at least he hasn’t in a long time. His philosophy is “Why be the best, when you already have everything you want?” He doesn’t need this, therefore, no matter what he says or does …this doesn’t mean as much to him as it does to me. He can have fun living his character and playing his part while the rest of us actually climb our way to the top.
She stopped running the ropes and caught her breath. Herman climbed into the ring.
Herman Melville: You about ready for this?
Alexis Prodigy: I told you sweetheart, I am more than ready for this match. I am walking out of this match the face of SCW. My career begins here; it begins with this match. These other people …while I admire three of them …their careers will begin their fall. As said, it isn’t going to be easy …but I have the benefit of being obsessed with this match for the last week.
Herman shook his head.
Herman Melville: No, I meant visiting your father.
Her face took on a grave look. She didn’t even bother to switch her facial reaction. Herman didn’t think that she could. She then shook herself out of it.
Alexis Prodigy: Of course…

He followed her out of the car as she made her way up the walk of her childhood home on Beacon Street. She looked completely unsure about this. Herman could tell that she did NOT want to see her father; She did not want to face him. Herman knew it wasn’t out of shame but what she wanted to do to her old man. All of that pent up aggression could come out the second the man known as Alexis Hope opened that door. Both Herman and Alexis Prodigy had seen her old man’s matches …and both knew that she could take him in a fight.
While almost everything she did, she did with confidence …this was different. She walked slowly as if when she opened that door that she would explode. She slowly walked up the steps and stared at the door for a moment. While she always thought ahead of time …this time, she just looked completely blank. Herman thought she looked catatonic. He thought she wouldn’t even try to knock.
Thankfully, she didn’t need to. The door brushed open revealing not her father but a middle aged woman. Alexis didn’t know who this was, but this lady sure as hell knew her. In fact, this lady looked at her with a huge heaping of vengeance. She had curlers in her hair and wasn’t wearing any make up.
Angry lady: No …you go away.
Alexis immediately snapped out of it and got in the ladies face.
Alexis Prodigy: I don’t think you know who you are talking.
The lady didn’t back down. The two stayed at a standstill on the porch.
Angry lady: What are you going to do? Beat me up? It wouldn’t be as bad as what you did to my husband. What kind of daughter walks out on her father to be trained by her rival.
Alexis immediately gave her the fauxe clueless puppy dog eyes.
Alexis Prodigy: I think my sweet dear father doesn’t remember things correctly. I am here to honor him.
The angry lady got even further in Alexis’ face and looked like she was going to slap.
Alexis Prodigy: Don’t feed me that bullcrap. I am not going to let you see him. I am not going to let you sell out his family name just to make yourself look good. It isn’t happening sweety.
Alexis on the dime goes from puppy dog to “little girl” the very thing she claimed she wasn’t early. Her body language changed to that of someone desperate. Herman found this interesting because he knew for a fact that she was indeed NOT desperate.
Alexis Prodigy: Please ma’am …your my step mom …have mercy on me. I am going to see my father because I have this huge match and I NEED his blessing to make myself content.
The woman turned around and slapped Alexis across the face. Alexis stepped backward and held her jaw. A competitive smirk crossed her face before going back to her “helpless” charade.
Angry Lady: You don’t need any kind of blessing from anyone. You and I both know that you have it in your genes to win any match that anyone throws at you. But as far as getting the fame you are so desperate for …you NEED him. That is the only reason you are back here.
Alexis Prodigy: Ma’am …ma’am, you misunderstand. I love my father.
The Angry lady approached her again and Alexis pretended to flinch as if she was afraid of her.
Angry Lady: He said you were a spoiled little demon when you came out of your mother’s wound. You expected the world to hand you a perfect life …and when you realized you couldn’t have it …you stabbed him in the back.
Alexis Prodigy fled backwards because she knew that since this on video …the audience would just see a crazy. Herman knew this too as he moved backward with Alexis.
Alexis Prodigy: Okay, okay …I am leaving.
Alexis and Herman moved back towards the car but then turned around to face her.
Alexis Prodigy: Oh and step mom…
I wild eyed grin appeared on Alexis’ face and her voice became full of gleeful condensation.
Alexis Prodigy: Tell Alexis that I love him.
She then sauntered back to the car like somehow she got what she wanted. Herman followed her and they took off. As she drove her car …Herman did not like the inhuman smile that appeared on her face. He didn’t like that this might be bad news for the four men that she would face at Superiority.
Something awoke inside her.

And as we head towards the biggest event in SCW’s short history …everyone looks towards the five people involved in the biggest main event in SCW’s short history. She alone will lead SCW’s young stars to rise up against the same old, same old.
